Our girls football program was created in 2019, when Sorrento JFC merged with Rye JFC, to ensure we could provide the best possible program for our local girls. We strive to create a team of motivated and passionate players and are dedicated to helping them become the best footballers they can be.
We are committed to creating an atmosphere that allows our players to grow in confidence, develop their skills and reach their highest potential.

The Rye Junior Football Club provides the opportunity for boys & girls to participate in the sport of Australian Rules Football in a friendly environment that encourages family participation and teaches the values of discipline, commitment and teamwork free from all forms of antisocial behavior.
The Rye Junior Football Club has a long and proud history providing the sporting outlet of Australian Rules Football for the youngsters of Rye since its inception in 1973. From humble beginnings, initially only fielding an under 12s team, the club has gone on to give boys & girls the opportunity to play football from Under 9s through to the Under 17s as they make their transition to senior football.

The mighty Sorrento Sharks is incorporated club with a long and steeped tradition, providing a competitive and fun football experience for local children aged 5 to 17 years.
The club’s focus is on fun, participation, personal development, skill development, and helping our players to be good sportsmen and women on and off the field of endeavor.
